WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE BELIEVE IN?
*BELGIUM WHEELERS ASBL-VZW is a non-profit association promoting micro-mobility.
We believe that these new personal mobility devices offer a real alternative in terms of urban travel, in order to reduce traffic and improve air quality, with all the positive consequences for the population. Their main advantages are that they take up little space and can be perfectly combined with other modes of transport like cars or public transport.
They are multimodal and provide flexible micro-mobility, which is particularly appropriate in large cities and can be adapted to the needs of the user.
*We are also convinced that "soft" mobility can be contribute to more cultural openness, sharing and integration.
*Practicing a sport using electric unicycles, such as Polowheel, is an excellent way to perfect the mastery of one’s machine in all circumstances and especially in traffic... Hence why we promote the sport as much as we can.
WHAT ARE WE DOING TO PROMOTE MICRO-MOBILITY?
Our aim is to help develop micro-mobility, and we are working to ensure that these new personal mobility devices are known and accepted by the greatest number of people and that they are given their rightful place on roads and cities. We also want to bring together existing users: to help BELGIUM WHEELERS’ goals, raise awareness of a responsible use of these vehicles. This will then help become better accepted (and enjoyed!) by other users.
To this end, we organise various activities for the public, users and for our members.
